Hot & Humid with Risk of Storms

Hot & Humid with Risk of Storms

A strong cold front continues to push closer to our area. The instability in the atmosphere will increase with the heat and humidity continuing to build in out ahead of the front. I expect scattered storms to develop later this morning into this afternoon. The storm threat will be with us through the middle of the week until this front moves through Thursday. Some of these storms could be strong to severe with the concern being heavy downpours, lightning, damaging wind gusts, hail and even an isolated tornado. The best threat for severe storms today will be west of Cleveland.

TODAY: Warm and humid with a few showers and t-storms this afternoon. Some of these storms could be strong and severe. High: 88 Wind: S at 5-15 mph.

TONIGHT: A few shower and storms. A few could be strong to severe. Low: 67 Wind: SW at 10-15 mph

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and t-storms. Threat of strong to severe storms. High: 86

We all suffer in hot weather. However, for elderly and disabled people and those with chronic health conditions such as vascular disease or diabetes, the weather does not have to hit 100 degrees to cause heat stress or even deadly heat stroke.

“Happy birthday to you!  Happy birthday to you!  Happy birthday dear Puddy Cat and Punkin!  Happy birthday to you!”  Puddy Cat and Punkin are brother and sister and will soon be hearing this song.  Their birthday is right around the corner on June 1st.  But, there is only one person who can make their birthday truly happy – you!  They are looking for a loving guardian whose everyday they can make a celebration.

Puddy Cat (pictured) and Punkin are inseparable.  They are more than just brother and sister; they are best friends.  With these two, you are getting double the cuddles, double the love, double the companionship, and double the friendship.  Their previous guardian passed away unexpectedly in February.  While sad, these two have so much more love to share and are ready to join a home once more.  So act today and adopt two adorable fur balls that will bring you double the smiles.

To adopt Puddy Cat and Punkin, contact Marge of Love-A-Stray Rescue in Avon at 440-777-1081, email margespaeth@gmail.com, or visit www.love-a-stray.petfinder.com/
